Q: Why don’t I just wear a headband when I workout?
A:Those DARN things always slip off and I spend a good portion of my workout “jacking” around with my headband!
Q: Okay, then why don’t I just put it in a ponytail with bobby pins?
A1: When you are weight lifting with a bar like in Les Mils Body Pump it gets caught on the bar lifting it up and over your head…or it pulls on your hair when you are trying to squat down. I don’t have time to mess with that either!
A2: When you are lying in the supine position (on your back) for sit-ups or yoga stretches the bulk of your ponytail is centered right in your way and your form is not always correct because you are trying to get comfortable with your hands behind your head or the floor is in the way!
That’s why I wear them! How about you? What is your favorite or best hairstyle for your workouts?
