Dreading tasks will only drain your joy!
Sometimes we spend more time dreading something than it takes for us to actually DO the task we dread to do!
Do something you dread FIRST thing in the morning. If you wait until the end of the day, most of your energy WILL be gone! I’m very honest when I say I haven’t always liked working out…that is why I DO it early in the morning … I get it over with and move on with my day!
Dread causes us to procrastinate, but if you’re ever going to do something, NOW is the best time!
Putting something off doesn’t make it go away, it only allows more time to torment you!
If it’s paying bills, folding laundry, making that phone call, doing the assignment, working on taxes, expense reports, working out, finishing up a project, starting to eat healthier…just get it done and you will have the sense of accomplishment and get your JOY back!
