Make a commitment to set YOUR mind on the things God has for you, focus on His plan for you, your life and your body.
Focus …You have to actively keep our minds focused or they WILL drift off and start thinking of something else.
I listen to a lot of training or audible books (see my favorite here) when I am working, doing dishes, folding laundry, or going to a walk. I will notice several minutes have gone by and I start thinking how I can implement something I just heard into my challenge groups, life, coaching business or wellness journey and I totally stopped “listening” and I’m off on my own thinking other other things.
I have to actively refocus my mind to stop and go back to listening to my training or book.
If you don’t actively keep your thoughts happy, positive and uplifting they will quickly have you start feeling sad, negative and down all the time.
Keep our mind on Him and he will help us keep our thoughts focused on what is good and help us make those right choices.
To help your mind focused, spend a little time with God everyday.
I like the mornings because it helps me start off the day right. I try to start my morning, but reading a devotional that speaks to me. I enjoy faith and fitness devotionals and also ones about living your best life now and confidently!
When and where is your favorite place for some quite time?
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:2
