“Since, then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:1-2
Don’t let the things people say go to your head and heart. Both Compliments or Criticisms can derail you emotionally and cause you to stumble. Do not be ruled what others think of you.
Don’t let someone say “oh, you are starting a “diet” again” affect your mentality or drive. This time it is different, this time you have support, this time you are making a lifestyle change and NOT on a diet.
IF someone compliments on your journey. YAY!!! Accept the compliment and stay true to your goals. IF you are still working on your journey don’t let that feeling of “I deserve this” sneak in, unless it is a planned treat.
Stay steady on your course no matter the positive or negative words and vibes coming your way!
Prayer for the day: Dear Lord, I struggle caring too much about the opinions of others. I beg You to please whisper words of truth into my heart and mind today. Protect me from both the bad and good opinions of others as I am reminded that only Your opinion counts. In Jesus’ name. Amen. – Lysa TerKeurst from Made to Crave

After dinner is sometimes the hardest time of the day/night! I try to drink green tea to help to stave off hunger for me personally! Sometimes it just helps to have something in your hand that you are sipping on! I keep a sticky note in my pantry to remind me to had TEA FIRST before I grab a snack! So in the evenings there are a few things that we can do to keep ourselves in check. After dinner get our minds busy, go outside play with the kids, take a walk or start a house project. Then, think of the kitchen as CLOSED for the rest of the night. If you need a snack choose something light like a protein shake, some steamed edamame, or a bowl of greek yogurt with berries.I literally think of the kitchen as closed and avoid it at all costs! It helps so much! You have worked HARD all day, so you CAN make it!
Go to sleep early if you need to! I use Green Tea to help me with some of those late night cravings find my Blog Post HERE
