Life happens! Kids get sick; jobs get sticky; relationships struggle and finances get flaky…
In a world filled with uncertainties and temptations, God is the ultimate armor. In a world filled with misleading messages, God’s word is the ultimate truth. Sometimes in the midst of our everyday lives, God can seem far away. He is not. God is everywhere you have ever been and everywhere you will ever go. He is with you night and day – waiting for you to reach out to Him.
I know it’s easy to lose steam and want to give up, but you are almost to the point where exercise and eating healthy is becoming a habit!! Believe it or not, by doing this challenge you are training to body to PREFER healthy options over unhealthy ones. I didn’t know it was possible for me to crave fruit over a cookie, but it is! You will naturally start craving what you are used to eating! Keep that in mind today as you plan out your week!
Set Mini Goals for Each week – Write them down and put them in your pantry or on your refrigerator to help remind you.
Rejoice! – Look for the good in things
Be Prayerful! – Turn temptations into trigger to pray
Be Thankful! – Think about how far you have come…NOT how far you have to go
Dear Lord, help me to remember that no matter how far away my goal may seem, I am most victorious when I am in the center of Your will. Today I will intentionally look for Your joy as I pray out of a thankful heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Lysa Terkeurst from Made to Crave.
So today, take the time to do your meal planning and prep! Do yourself a favor and remember how important it is to have a plan to start the week.

It’s a rest day for some of us and a planning day for most!
So take this time to SLOW DOWN take a breather and regroup for the week!
We are heading into the 3rd WEEK of our challenge group! WOW!! The days & weeks go by so fast, that is why we have to make EVERYDAY count. I know it’s easy to lose steam and want to give up, but you are almost to the point where exercise and eating healthy is becoming a HABIT!!!
REMEMBER: If it’s beneficial for you to stay on track with your food, make sure you are journaling your food in a book DON’T FORGET about the 21 DAY FIX APP to track your calories. Knowing exactly what you are eating is very helpful if you are at a stand-still with seeing change in your body.
Double check your calories and or your allotted number of portion containers you are allowed daily.
