When you’ve tried and failed as many times as I have, you start to feel gun-shy about trying again. I totally understand if you feel that way too. You are worried about failing at something again…or worse failing God since this group is reading Made to Crave!
I’d start to eat healthy, lose some weight, feel good for a couple of months, deceive myself into thinking I could return to old habits, and all the weight would creep back on. And I would feel horrible!
I realized that when I don’t have peace physically, I don’t have peace spiritually. I can’t separate the two. Nor should I. I need spiritual motivation to step in where my physical determination falls short.
This is where my group and Made to Crave steps in.

Recipe of the Day: Un-stuffed Cabbage Recipe
This is a great meal to make ahead, make a large batch and save the other half for a dinner or prepped lunches for the week.
The goal of eating cleaner and better is not about making this harder for you. I try to give you recipes and tips to make this a lifestyle for you so you DON’T give up! You got this!
When you are going grocery shopping, stick to the perimeter of the store. You will notice the foods found on the outside perimeter walls are fresh foods – produce, meats, dairy, eggs, etc. The processed foods are found in the aisles – cereals, cookies, chips, etc. Make a list before going to the store and stick to it. Do not venture down the aisles unless it is for something in particular. You will risk those Oreos jumping into your cart!!
Purchase foods from your grocery store with only five ingredients or FEWER!
Apple = 1 Ingredient – apple
Oatmeal = 1 Ingredient -oats (NOT packaged,flavored, instant oatmeal…whole oats)

This is a great book that helps you see the bigger picture and helps you change your mindset on how the little things really do count.
It discusses what the compound effect is and how slowly it makes HUGE difference in your life! Each day you make a ton of small choices from how your react, what you eat, what you watch to when you go to bed.
These small choices every day helps choose what path you are on! YES! you are on a path one way or another! Ask yourself this … IS this choice helping (or hurting) me get to my personal goals?
