“LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. ” PSALM 30:2
I will admit if you do that there are times its hard…it’s hard to wake up early and do our prep and planning, sometimes the struggle is REAL when everyone else is having cake and ice cream and we are trying to stay on track!
There are times I think …is this worth it…especially when you don’t see the number on the scale move in a long time. Those plateaus are killer and you start doubting that things are working and worth it. Those doubts come into your head and steal your joy, steal your peace!
God wants us to be healthy so we can do His work and make him known. Satan wants to stop us. He does not want us to follow through our calling! Satan wants us to fail, he wants us to doubt, he wants us to crawl back in bed and throw the covers over our head and give up.
DON’T LET HIM WIN!
Reminded yourself that God is big enough to handle my doubts.
“Dear Lord, I know You are big enough to handle all of my doubts. By Your word You have healed me. Now, help me walk in the reality that I am anchored in Your promises. Forevermore. In Jesus’ name. Amen.” – Lysa TerKeurst from Made to Crave.

Say NO to Simple Carbs
You HAVE to do it! Say no to the simple carbs if you want to eat for peak metabolism. Remove those cookies, gummi bears, crackers and chips from your cabinets!!
Foods with added sugars, or made with added processed white grains and flours, have a high Glycemic Index, and cause spikes in insulin levels, which in turn slows down your metabolism.
Yep, this includes white rice, bread and pasta and rely on whole grains, and fresh fruit and veggies for energy.
Eating nutrient-dense foods makes an enormous and notable difference both in your health and your physique.
